Cut off Mark

Osun State Polytechnic Released Cut Off Mark And Added New Courses 2024

In a statement signed by the school Registrar, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, the Osun State Polytechnic cut-off mark has been pegged at 120 for all the courses offered in the school. This will also affect the newly accredited courses by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for the institution. The 10 new programs include Geology, Agricultural Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Water Resources Engineering Technology, Library and Information Science, Health Information Management, and Public Administration. These programs are now available for admission in the 2024/2025 academic session.

For the Higher National Diploma (HND) level, the new courses for the ongoing admission exercise are Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology, with options in Farm Power and Machinery, Soil and Water, Post-Harvest, and Science Laboratory Technology (Physics with Electronics Option).

To be eligible for National Diploma admission, you must select the institution as your first choice, score a minimum of 120 in the 2024 UTME, and have the required O’level results. These are what will qualify you for the Post UTME screening exercise that the school will conduct. Kindly note that 120 doesn’t guarantee admission, as it only serves as the minimum permissible score. This is why a higher mark than the minimum is always recommended to be able to stand a chance for admission.
