How To Check NECO BECE Result 2024

All the students in JSS 3 in the 36 states, including FCT, sit down for BECE in the third term. So, I will guide those in the federal unity schools and some private schools who will write the Basic Education Certificate Examination conducted by NECO on checking their results. Also, at the end of the article, there is a guide for those in state schools on ways to go about theirs.

Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is conducted for candidates in their third year (final year) of the Junior Secondary School. Furthermore, NECO is the body that conducts the BECE for Federal Unity Colleges, Armed Forces Secondary Schools, and other Federal establishments operating Secondary schools. Private secondary schools in Nigeria also participate in the NECO BECE, provided their State Ministries of Education permit them to do so.

Procedure for State

Each state of the federation and the FCT examines its candidates through the Ministry of Education from each state. So, you will have to check through the state’s Ministry of Education portal before you can access your result. Below are links to some of the states where I have written a guide on how to access the result.

To check your Junior WAEC result for states that have an online portal, you will have to get a PIN and visit the portal to check your JSS3 result.

For states that don’t have an online portal, the result will be sent from the Ministry of education to all principals of the various public secondary schools in the state. So you should contact your school about your results.
