JAMB Admission Deadlines for all Schools 2024/2025 Session

JAMB admission 2024/2025 academic session deadline for all national tertiary institutions has yet to be set for public universities, private universities, and all IEIs, polytechnics, and colleges of education. However, all institutions are expected to close admission before the commencement of 2025 UTME.

Every tertiary institution in Nigeria has a closing date for admission. This date is always after the merit and other lists have been released. How soon it will be will depend on when the school conducts its PUTME. For instance, if a school conducts PUTME around November, the admission deadline will likely be around January. However, as mentioned above, the officially approved date by JAMB for all schools to end the 2024/2025 admission has yet to be disclosed. Still, schools are expected to conclude the admission process before the commencement of 2025 UTME. This is to let applicants know where they stand early and can partake of the UTME if they wish.

Some universities or polytechnics will still offer admission to candidates before the end of January 2025. So, for now, there is no fixed date.

Leaders of the institutions might have agreed without disclosure when the first and second-choice admission exercise would start, and the deadline might have been communicated to different institutions. But 2024 admission won’t be on when JAMB has started selling 2025 UTME.
