The management of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun Osun State (FUHSI) has released the cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 academic session for all the courses being offered in the school. The minimum mark to be eligible for the screening exercise is 180.
FUHSI is one of the newly established health universities in Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari. Currently, the number of approved courses in the school is Nine (9).
Below is the minimum point you need to have to be able to participate in the school post-UTME.

Candidates having a minimum of five (5) O’ level (SSCE) Credits in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology with the relevant subject combinations in the 2024 UTME who wish to enroll at the university can effect their change of institution on the JAMB portal accordingly.

The PUTME cut-off mark is determined through the combination of marks obtainable from the screening exercise, O’level grade, and JAMB score. From what I have gathered, the school uses 80/20 scoring formula. This means your UTME score will carry 80% while O’level will carry 20%.
For example, if you score 250 in UTME, the calculation will be (250/400)*80 = 50%. For the O’level, A1=4, B2=3.5, B3=3 C4=2.5 C5=2 C6=1.5. Let’s say you you to study Medicine, and you have Eng = B3, Math = A1, Phy = B2, Chem = B2, Biology = A1, your point will be = 3+4+3.5+3.5+4 = 18. So your aggregate score will be = 50+18 = 68%.
The average pass mark is 50%. However, courses like Medicine and Nursing have higher marks because they are competitive.
